To get kids and families outside having fun in the snow, Midcoast Conservancy provides affordable, quality cross country ski equipment for kids and adults. Lease high quality skis, boots, and poles through Midcoast Conservancy for the entire winter; each individual is sized for the gear and then takes it home for the season so they can ski on great equipment wherever, whenever they want.
The individual who will use the skis must be present. Come early to get the right sized gear! Any questions about the ski lease program can be directed to Tripp, tripp@midcoastconservancy.org.
The ski lease package is $70 per participant.
In addition, Midcoast Conservancy will sponsor the Hidden Valley Ski Club for all ages, youth and adults. The club will start Sunday, January 5th and run each Sunday morning until February 16th (and beyond depending on conditions). Cross country skiers of all ages and abilities can join us Sunday mornings for a community ski club at Midcoast Conservancy’s Hidden Valley Nature Center. Whether you’ve always wanted to learn to cross country ski or you’ve skied before but could use some new skills, we’ll meet you where you’re at in a fun no-pressure environment. Love cross country skiing but have kids slowing you down? Let us teach the kids while you head onto the trails with new friends. No matter your ability or age, join us weekly for Sunday Ski Club!
